Steve Traves came to Anna Maria Island in 1986 and began his life here re-building an old beach house. "It's a great place to live and spend time in the outdoors. Opening the shop has been a dream of mine for a long time and I'm glad to say it's doing well and we expect to be here for many years to come. When I'm not in the shop I like to spend time out on the front porch playing music with friends or flyfishing the sandbars and grass flats in nearby waters. Sometimes I wade and sometimes I go out on my SUP board or in my kayak."
